What you missed: We handed out our gifts for Saturnalia, reminded everyone to sign up for Area during the week, and discussed ideas for getting the word out about signups and future meetings.

What you missed: Halloween! We made fun JCL-themed cards to send to kids in the hospital as part of our service project.

What you missed: We introduced the JCL and our officers for this year, designated some time to talk about our community service project (making blankets!), which we’ll carry out intermittently throughout the year or during set meetings, and discussed possible activities for meetings (among those suggested were movies, re-enactments of Classical epics, and Certamen). We also discussed the possibility for hosting Certamen scrimmages on E-day mornings.
